I’ve been racing with Sailteck since June, the readability is fantastic. With the two lines I never miss critical data and with the big precise display I pick up even the smallest shifts, both up and down wind. The Sailteck is super easy to configure and my setup is a perfect fit to the way I sail.

The display is exceptional, with large, easy-to-read numbers visible from almost any angle. We used it over 13 days in Scotland under constant rain and zero sunlight, and the battery performed flawlessly. The minute-by-minute sync function, beyond the standard 5,4,1 countdown, proved incredibly useful. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed.

The Sailteck race compass is a game changer. The bigger display is so helpful, it makes is it much easier to read. I wear polarised sunglasses to help spot gusts and Sailteck is sharp and clear, it’s a real step forward.

With the two-line display, there is no need to compromise:
Before the start:
With the countdown and heading in view, be on time and be at the favoured end.
After the start:
With the tactical display and heading in view, play the shifts upwind and downwind.
The countdown is pure simplicity: the GO button starts the countdown and you can adjust the minutes with the left and right buttons even whilst the countdown is running.
The super-bold 30mm characters are easy to read and the twin displays ensure a clear view even from a hiking or trapezing position. The displays are compatible with polaroid sunglasses.
Sailteck offers an unprecedented combination of water integrity and solar efficiency. The large efficient solar panel provides more power than the electronics needs, even in the rain. Built with a one part toughened transparent front, the Race Compass is submersible to 20m.
