When Sailteck was selected to run race management for the 2026 Nacra 17 Europeans, we saw it as an opportunity to prove there could be a better way.

A way to end general recalls, through accurate, reliable, simple starting technology for all.

Every race was run using Sailteck 𝗟𝗜𝗩𝗘.

There were no unit failures or replacements required throughout the regatta. Each race was tracked over 2 nautical miles.

For the fleet, it facilitated brilliant racing. Plus, Sailtecks share position data amongst each other, so each team had the opportunity to take home the tracks of every other team for race replay, analysis and improvement.

This was a seminal moment, as Sailteck’s highly reliable long-range race management system entered the arena at Olympic level, paving the way for what's to come...
